Email is Popular

I thought about writing this story last week. The plan was to type some words and see what I thought of them. Instead researched the top searched words on Google. I learned that Hotmail and Yahoo are still sought after: in the top 20 average searches (in the not safe for work category). Gmail has more than both of those combined, but it appears that the Internet is quite circular. You go there to find things to do there. I would also imagine that most people are searching for things to watch when they stare at the posters on the movie theater wall. So much for my plan.

Shoveled Snow

I shoveled the snow this morning. It was a great workout, which is about the only reason I do it. I come into the house, covered in the white stuff below the knees. My wife says to me, "Thanks for doing that. It looks really great." I replied, "Well the snow as an act of nature."

That's what I do now, crack dad jokes. It reminds my children who their father is.

Let's Talk

I just took up writing again, after many years of typing out computer code. I like sitting on my ass, getting old, wasting away. Whoever said we should all live to be 100 was pretty damn crazy and must not have done anything fun with their life. I know that sounds counter, but that is exactly wrong. Once you've had a certain amount of fun, all the things become mundane and redundant. Why would anyone want to live in a world like that? Do you have the answer? I ask myself that a lot. I guess that's probably the reason I am typing right now: to add some color the world and give someone something to do other than what they did yesterday. I'm looking for new ideas to write about. Please send an email or a text with something fresh to say.

Virus Blues

My son has Covid. Nothing more than a cold, thankfully. I'm writing this down for the future, which future or what future I do not know. Soon viruses will have to spread through Neuralink because everyone will stay at home. Spreading disease through the Internet is probably not possible today, but it will be. Remember you read this when that becomes possible and know that you knew already.
